Hotel Boston is a modern boutique hotel located in the heart of Florence offering an exceptional experience in Firenze. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance to the Duomo, Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, Mercato Centrale, and Santa Maria Novella Railway Station along with all the key sights and attractions the city offers.
Hotel Boston is a 3-star hotel offering wonderful accommodations that have recently been updated. A full continental breakfast is served every morning. There are countless exceptional restaurants surrounding the hotel.
A hearty breakfast is included each day to prepare you for the day. The Hotel Boston was built in 1972 and has been family owned and operated since. It has just been recently renovated and updated in a very hip and modern urban style. There are cozy spaces in the hotel along with a wonderful patio.

Check in was a breeze.
Staff (usually family) was friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful in planning our excursions around Florence.
The location is exceptional offering easy walking to most places we wanted to go. It is also close to public transportation.
The design, style and modern facility were comparable to rooms and hotels with 4 or 5 stars.
Loved the complimentary and extensive breakfast. This is a was a wonderful way to start the day. Also easy to grab and go for on-the-go travelers.
Had a strong home-away-from-home feeling after long days exploring.
WiFi is included and available throughout the property.
Business Services – computer, printer, scanning and emailing available through front desk.

It bares repeating – The Staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and bent over backwards to make you feel welcomed and at home. They were happy to assist with any need or request.

Coffee/tea makers in room. Also 24-hour coffee bar at front desk.
24-hour front desk staff.
Pet friendly rooms are also available.
CONS
No English channels on the TV.
Front desk is very helpful for directions, reservations, and service, but there is limited depth for more complex assistance and concierge services. This worked for us, but could be issue if this is a need.

Breakfast – The dining room offers a full range of complimentary breads, fruits, cereals, drinks with an espresso bar.
Restaurant – No – Not on-site, however there are 10+ with 1/ block. The hotel has a special relationship with La Gratella restaurant only 15 feet away. La Gratella offers hotel guests a discount, and arguably has some of the best food we’ve enjoyed during our 2-month visit to Italy.
Living Room | Bar | Patio – Hotel Boston has a dining room that is very comfortable that offers a space to sit and relax or work. There is also a wonderful outside patio with comfortable seating, garden area and fish pond.
