We decided to visit Italy which evolved into living in Italy for two months. During this time we moved around the country to sample the differences and diversity of the many different regions of Italy.

ROMANCED BY ROME An Adventure of a Lifetime begins with living in Rome for a month. This story explores settling in to our new home and learning how to get around our new home. Some of the sights we visit include; The Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Rioni Monti, the Forum and Palatine Hill, The Pantheon and Piazza Navona, Trajan’s Market, and Emperor Nero’s Golden House the Domus Aurea.

ROMANCED BY ROME – PART 2 continues the Adventure of a Lifetime living in Rome. After getting well settled in we hit our stride living as locals. Some of the sights include Vatican City, Spanish Steps, Colosseum Underground, The Orange Garden on Aventine Hill, Jewish Quarter, Teatro Marcello, Victor Emmanuel Monument, Trastevere, Piazza Campo de’ Fiori, Ides of March, Testaccio Market, and a day trip to Ostia Antica.

ORVIETO – TWO MONTHS IN ITALY Orvieto is a small hill town in the Umbria countryside dating back to ancient times founded by the Etruscans. There are more than 1,200 caves underneath the town that were left by the Etruscans…how these caves were used throughout history is a fascinating story.
MILAN
5 FAVORITE EXPERIENCES IN MILAN We were surprised by our time in Milan. First we weren’t planning on being there except overnight on our way to Paris. However, due to a rail strike we changes our plan spending a week in Milan. Best decision we made. Milan offers a lot of exciting experiences and wonders for visitors. We especially enjoyed the Grand Navigali Canal and the Milan Cathedral.
